Fairview Health Services is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a new CNM team at Fairview Clinics- Burnsville.
The CNM will work as a member of the healthcare team in the independent management of women's health care, focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, care of the newborn and the family planning and gynecological needs of women.
Join a team of 4 Certified Nurse Midwives and 7 Ob/Gyn Physicians
Deliveries performed at: Fairview Ridges Hospital.
Admitting Hospital: Fairview Ridges Hospital
Schedule details: 3 day clinical work week
Call Frequency: 1:5 with in-house OB emergency support on evenings and weekends
Established referral base of Fairview employed primary care and sub specialty physicians
All Fairview CNMs practice in accord with the Standards of the Practice of Nurse Midwifery, as defined by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM).

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Nurse Midwife training program.
Have a current, or be eligible for a MN APRN license and be approved or eligible by the Minnesota Board of Nursing for prescription writing privileges.
Be certified through the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
A minimum of 2 years of CNM experience is required.
No new graduates will be considered.
