Reading Hospital - Tower Health, a 600+ bed tertiary care facility is a not-for-profit, independent, academic medical center and a Level II trauma center located in West Reading, PA. We are seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified fellowship trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians to staff a growing, active, established pediatric emergency department.
Our Emergency Department is the busiest in the state of Pennsylvania treating over 135,000 patients annually including 30,000 children per year. This July we are opening our 16-bed self-contained pediatric emergency department within our 120-bed ED. We are a collegial, fully employed physician group serving the city of Reading and all of Berks County, PA, with a population in excess of 400,000. We have the support of 24-hour in-patient pediatric and adult hospitalists, trauma surgery, obstetrics, and anesthesiology.
