The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner serves as the clinical expert for assigned Nursing areas. The nurse practitioner works collaboratively with medical staff and assists with the entering of orders on EMR system. Assists with timely and accurate entering of physicians orders. Works with facilities Director of Clinical Informatics to resolve any system issues on a timely manner. They also facilitate: patient preparation for procedures, reaching plan of care goals, and all other patient care initiatives progressing towards discharge. This individual works collaboratively with all health care disciplines utilizing a team approach.
ï¿½ Minimum of two (2) years hospital nursing experience in an acute care/hospital setting highly preferred ï¿½ Must have good computer knowledge and excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently to include excel, word, electronic medical records. ï¿½ Experience working with EMR required. Experience with Cerner highly preferred. ï¿½ Excellent human relations and/or written communication skills. Nursing Leadership experience preferred. ï¿½ Must be able to function as an educational resource for nurses throughout the facilities
ï¿½ Masters Degree in Nursing, meets current ARNP certification through the board of nursing ï¿½ Current BLS and ACLS required. ï¿½ PALS preferred
