Part Time 36 hours, Night Shift. Rotating Weekends/Holidays/On Call.
The Emergency Department (ED) performs effectively in life threatening emergencies by identifying emergent situations, initiating appropriate interventions, and documenting outcomes - collaborating with physicians and other health care team members to determine appropriate interventions. The Emergency Department(ED) Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to interpret and diagnose changes in patient s condition, plan appropriate interventions to achieve expected outcomes, document changes, interventions and outcomes, with regard to the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit, i.e. Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent adult and Geriatric. S/he will perform other duties as assigned.
Candidates must have an ASN or Nursing diploma; BSN preferred. If candidate possesses ASN or Nursing diploma, must agree to complete BSN within five years of hire date.
Active, Valid State of New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
CPR, ACLS, PALS Certification required; TNCC within one year of hire.
ICU or ICU step down RN experience required. Emergency department RN experience preferred.
