Directs and manages the operations of assigned areas in accordance with the objectives of the department, facility, and American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Care and Professional Performance.Responsible for the overall management of the department daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal accountability, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives, as established by the administrative leadership team. Responsible for staff performance, provision of high quality patient care, and meeting safety standards in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Responsible for directing staff education and competency.Contributes to relationship building with patients, families, physicians, vendors, and others to promote growth and volume for the department.
1.Registered Nurse with Bachelorï¿½s Degree preferred
2.Masterï¿½s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
1.A minimum of five (5) years of relevant clinical experience in the assigned area(s)
2.Previously demonstrated management and leadership skills required
1.American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification
2.CurrentSouth CarolinaState Board of Nursing license or multi-state license from another CompactState within the prescribed guidelines of the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act
3.ACLS certification preferred
