Coordinates primary health care planning for patients in collaboration with physicians and hospital personnel. Assess general health status of patients by providing history and physical examinations and monitoring of appropriate laboratory and radiographic studies. Acts as liaison between patient, family members, hospital staff, and physicians. Serves as clinical resource to staff, providing education to enhance patient outcomes.
Education Masters Degree in Nursing. Required licensures/certifications Current Florida Nursing License Current Florida ARNP Licence Current BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification PICC Line Certification preferred HI certification within 6 months of hire/transfer. Skills and Abilities Ability to teach adult learner at all levels. Experience Minimum of one year clinical experience as ARNP preferred. Proficient in electronic Medical Records and Computer Physician Order entry. Working knowledge of Quality Improvement Process and JC standards
