Position Summary The Emergency Department Registration Representative works under the direct supervision of the E.D. Patient Registration Supervisor. The Registration Representative is responsible to interview the patient or his/her designee to obtain information pertinent to registration or admission to the hospital. Upon completion of the medical screening exam (MSE) the Representative will obtain insurance information, proceed with insurance verification and inform patient of any financial obligations. The Registration Representative is to work in a cooperative manner to fulfill the goals of the department and hospital displaying courtesy with all patients, staff and visitors. Qualifications:
