Morristown Medical has an excellent opportunity for a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrists. The program works in collaboration with our Health systemas comprehensive Pediatric Speciality.

The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist provides direct psychiatric services. This position requires the ability to collaborate with the leadership team, community partners, and families to provide individualized and tailored care .

Primary duties include:

• Conducts psychiatric assessment of children/adolescents.
• Provides regular psychiatric/medical consultation and direction to clinical staff.
• Evaluates medication needs, prescribes, and supervises ongoing medication needs.

Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
