Nationwide Children’s Hospital is currently seeking a General Pediatrician to join Mercy Health Children’s Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, an affiliate of Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
The General Pediatrician will see patients at the Franklin Avenue Pediatric Practice while providing precepting services. The General Pediatrician will be expected to participate in lectures and didactics.
There is currently 1 full time pediatrician, 2 part time pediatricians and a full-time nurse practitioner at this location. Approximately 12 residents have their continuity clinic at this location as well. This practice primarily serves the underserved population and is located 2 blocks from the Mercy St. Vincent campus.
This position requires an individual with excellence in clinical care and teaching. Minimum qualifications include an M.D. or D.O. degree, board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio.
Candidates will be able to collaborate with faculty in the Division of Primary Care Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital located in Columbus, Ohio.
As an extension of their current collaborative partnership, Nationwide Children’s Hospital will acquire Mercy Health — Children's Hospital effective January 1, 2022.
