THE OPPORTUNITY: Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) is actively recruiting a Gynecologic Oncologist who will serve as both the Section Chief of Gynecology Oncology but also, will serve as the Medical Director of the Gynecology Oncology Multi-Disciplinary Program. The successful candidate will have significant clinical expertise, academic accomplishments, and robust administrative experience as they will oversee all aspects of Gynecologic Oncology within BMDACC. With a solid footprint in Colorado, this is a startup program in the Arizona region with mature organizational resources and as such, this person must demonstrate a growth-oriented mindset and the ability to navigate complex networks. The successful candidate for the Section Chief and Medical Director at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center must have excellent clinical skills and experience in research and clinical trials. They will preferably have a proven track record growing and leading a clinical program to strong and consistent quality, safety, financial, and satisfaction (physician, staff, patient) performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to build a Gynecology Oncology program with national draw by recruiting physicians and finding key differentiators for the program in the markets served. They will be operationally savvy with an unwavering commitment to improved business operations and a willingness to re-align resources with evolving strategies. They will be passionate about continuously improving and providing high quality care and service excellence to patients, families, employees, and physicians.
The successful candidate is expected to be an MD, DO or equivalent with current ABMS Board certification in Gynecological Oncology.
They must already hold or be eligible for a medical license to practice medicine in the State of Arizona and be eligible for medical staff
