Emory University School of Medicine Cell Biology Department will be reviewing research interest for all ranks in a non tenure path.
The candidate should have a PhD in Cell or Molecular Biology or related field, plus 5 years of postdoctoral experience. The applicant MUST have broad expertise supported by publications in ALL the following areas of cell and molecular biology: cell adhesion with a focus on integrin signaling and extracellular matrix remodeling, bacterial proteins interactions with cell surface receptors and endocytosis, mechanisms for angiogenesis and vasculogenesis, mitochondrial function and REDOX biology, mitochondrial-dependent signal transduction, cholesterol metabolism, DNA damage and repair mechanisms after damage induced by chemotherapeutics, X ray sources and alpha particles, microscopy of DNA replication, advanced immunomicroscopy in tissues, quantitative proteomics, and bioinformatic analysis of large datasets.
