Atlantic Health is Seeking a Colorectal Surgeon for a Great Opportunity in Northern NJ!
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jerseyas largest non-profit healthcare systems, is seeking an additional Colorectal Surgeon to join an expanding practice in Summit, NJ! This role is ideal for an ambitious and skilled colorectal surgeon to join a well-established surgical group with an outpatient location in Summit NJ, affiliated with Overlook Medical Center.
Founded by the late Dr. Eugene Salvati fifty years ago, the practice currently consists of four surgeons who are board-certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. This is a mature, stable practice that has established a strong and loyal referral base in the tri-sate area. Their surgeons direct the only colorectal residency program in New Jersey, training three colorectal residents annually. Having trained one in twenty colorectal residents in the United States, the group is at the forefront of surgical innovation and has a national reputation as leaders within the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons.
The ideal candidate will have strong academic interests as the group works closely with their own colorectal residents and general surgery residents. The candidate will assume an already busy practice but will be expected to grow and foster a new referral basis out of Overlook Medical Center. Monday to Friday surgical procedures. Very reasonable weekday and weekend call rotation and rotating call for holidays.

- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery
- Applicants must have clinical expertise in the full spectrum of colorectal surgery including anorectal surgery, colonoscopy, pelvic floor disorders, and minimally invasive surgery for benign and malignant diseases. Robotics experience is a plus.

- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
