Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida has initiated a search for an additional neonatologist for our affiliate site at nearby HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital in eight pediatric specialties (2021-2022) including Neonatology. Highlights of this position include:

• Located just 10 miles east of downtown Tampa, greater Brandon is a thriving region of over 265,000 residents and one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country.
• Brandon Regional Hospital is now HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. This 436-bed acute care facility offers a wide range of specialty services, including a 24/7 emergency rooms for adults and children, Heart and Vascular Center, Bariatric Center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). It is also home to The Women's Center and The Baby Suites, offering complete care for the whole family.  It recently completed a $16.5 million expansion of the NICU and Labor and delivery.
• The 36 bed, Level III NICU is staffed 24/7 by ACSP neonatologists, advanced practice providers, and neonatal nurses.
• HCA Florida Brandon Hospital NICU offers the following services:
  • Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) respiratory support
  • Speech therapy and occupational therapy
  • In-house breastfeeding and nutritional support
  • Pediatric ophthalmology services
  • Pediatric pulmonology services
  • Specialized infant beds designed to transform from an incubator to a crib as your child grows and gains strength
  • Ventilatory support including HFOV and iNO
  • Whole body cooling therapy
• HCA Florida Brandon Hospital Baby Suites have on average 2800 deliveries per year with a large high-risk population. JHACH Maternal Fetal Medicine offers outpatient and consultations services at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital.
