Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Jane Fonda Center invites applications for a tenure eligible, Senior Level Faculty Position in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health. This exciting position offers the opportunity for multidisciplinary research in adolescent sexual and reproductive health, family planning and related fields. We are looking for an energetic, innovative, committed and experienced faculty person to add to our team. The successful candidate will:
- Have a PhD, MD, or DrPHand an established independent track record of extramural funding in adolescent sexual and reproductive health or related fields.
- Have a strong record of contributions in mentorship of trainees and junior faculty
- Show a background of scholarship, service on academic committees and professional organizations
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, professionalism, interpersonal skills, leadership, and management abilities to effectively direct and develop research consistent with the organizations pledge
- Have a proven track record of independent Federal research funding.
Candidates from a wide range of disciplines (womens health, health disparities, health services, population health, epidemiology, behavioral health, behavioral economics and others) are encouraged to apply. Special consideration will be given to those with previous experience in adolescent reproductive health, womens health, or family planning.
Faculty appointment will be commensurate with experience. Qualified candidates will be considered for the Marion Howard Chair in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health. Initial funding will be provided by the Jane Fonda Center, and candidates will be expected to secure extramural funding to support their research after the initial appointment.Partial salary support will also be provided by the Marion Howard Chair.
