The Division of Neonatology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Toledo is currently seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Neonatologist to join their existing inpatient unit located at Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Toledo.
As an extension of their current collaborative partnership, Nationwide Children’s Hospital acquired Mercy Health Children’s Hospital effective March 1, 2022 and transitioned to Nationwide Children’s Toledo.
The two health systems will continue to collaborate beyond this transition via population health initiatives and research integration, with the overarching goal of providing high quality health care to children and their families. The successful candidate will join three board-certified neonatologists and will provide inpatient intensive care for infants and be responsible for clinical service, and teaching. The clinical team consists of 12 neonatal nurse practitioners, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, clinical social worker, case managers, dietician, physical therapist/feeding specialist and pediatric pharmacist. The Division of Neonatology provides dedicated, comprehensive call coverage, inpatient, coverage for neonates in a 30-bed unit NICU. Qualified candidates must have completed U.S. ACGME-accredited fellowship training in Neonatology and be board certified/board eligible in Neonatology.
