As we continue to grow and expand, Northwell Health in conjunction with The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra is seeking a Board eligible/certified General Urologist, to be based in Westchester county, New York.
Qualifications:
- M.D. Degree or equivalent from an accredited School of Medicine.
- Completion of Residency in Urology with Board Certification.
- Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
- Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques.
The Department of Urology
Our group is world-renowned in the treatment of prostate, kidney, bladder and testes cancers, and was the first in developing and offering safer and less invasive treatments. Commitment to and interest in research programs and academic initiatives is essential at all levels of this position. The department of Urology is part of the Zucker School of Medicine, ranked 66 in the US News and World Report. As such, candidates will be expected to have a role in the Medical School as well as time focused on training residents at our Health System.
