Loyola University Medical Center and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine have an excellent full-time employment opportunity for an Academic Breast Surgeon to join two full-time Breast Surgeons located in Maywood, Illinois.

The selected candidate will join the Division of Surgical Oncology in the Department of Surgery and will have the opportunity to practice with a multi-disciplinary oncology team, including surgical and medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, breast radiologists, pathologists, and a genetic counselor in providing comprehensive consultative and therapeutic care to patients with surgical diseases of the breast.

The clinical responsibilities are to be a member of the team at LUMC and to initiate a clinical breast practice at Loyola Medicine's MacNeal Hospital. Responsibilities include the full spectrum of breast surgical care, pre/post-surgical care, and teaching at resident and student levels. Diverse research opportunities are available and encouraged at the translational, basic science and clinical levels.

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and have completed a Fellowship in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology.
