UCHealth is establishing a mechanical thrombectomy-capable stroke center at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado.
An experienced neurointerventional provider with a strong interest in program development is being sought for full-time employment at an established certified Primary Stroke Center. This position will serve as the medical director for the program.
This clinical and medical leadership position provides the opportunity for an energetic provider to develop interventional stroke capabilities as part of a multi-disciplinary stroke care team of neurohospitalists, neurosurgeons, emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, stroke coordinators, and nursing staff. This team has developed a cohesive regional system of stroke care that is ready to expand in northern Colorado and beyond.
Eligible candidates may come from the following disciplines:
- Interventional Neuro-Radiology
- Interventional Neurology
Medical Center of the Rockies is a regional neurosurgical center and Level I trauma center with 189 total beds. The esteemed Heart Center of the Rockies with extensive electrophysiology, vascular and cardiothoracic surgery services is based here as are the LifeLine rotor and critical care transport teams.
