Lisa Dean Moseley Foundation Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with post-fellowship training in transplant and cellular therapies to join the team. Responsibilities will include delivering transplant and cellular clinical services to children including allogenic and autologous stem cell therapies for malignant and non-malignant disease such as leukemia, lymphoma, myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative disease, solid tumors, brain tumors, and bone marrow failure syndromes. Additionally, we have a growing non-malignant transplant consultation service for our Comprehensive Sickle Cell program as we are members of the STAR (Sickle Cell Transplant Advocacy and Research) Consortium.
Additionally, we are looking for a physician to further grow our cellular and gene therapy program. A successful candidate will be able to partner with industry to on board cellular therapy products, such as patient specific cellular therapies or virus specific cellular therapies, as well as diagnostics and stem cell technologies to optimize transplant and cellular therapies at Nemours.
Highlights of our program include a supportive and collaborative group of 11 pediatric hematologists/oncologists, 8 nurse practitioners, a thriving Nemours Comprehensive Sickle Cell program, the pediatric portion of the Delaware Hemophilia Treatment Center, and a pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship program.
