St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a part-time Physician to join the team at Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center located in Schenectady, New York.

Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center has been providing long term care in the Schenectady community since 1989 and rehabilitation services since 2001. The facility is an 82-bed skilled nursing facility and short-term rehabilitation consisting of 3 units (2 long term care, and 1 rehabilitation). We pride ourselves in promoting dignity, respect, individuality, and quality of life. Our rehab program provides service for individuals who have been referred by their physician for one or many types of therapy, including IV, physical, occupational and speech therapy. We also manage medication adjustments and wound care with the goal of the patient being able to return home.

Opportunity details:

• In person rounding once a week for 2-4 hours
• Case load of 27-33 long term residents
• On call every other weekend (phone call only)
• Take own calls during the week for your residents for any issues

Interested candidates should have the following:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• NYS License
• Open to all experience levels
• Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented
