Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri is recruiting an emergency medicine physician! We have a strong team of hospital-employed physicians and a great mix of experience levels with a young team. Candidates must be BC/BE in emergency medicine. This is a hospital-employed group with no partnership track/buy-in and equal parity, scheduling, and vote from day one! - 240-bed hospital
- New, beautiful hospital (opened in 2015) offers state-of-the-art technology and equipment
- 21 exam rooms, 5 behavioral health rooms
- Leve II trauma with 6 trauma rooms, full-time trauma surgeons
- ED connected to ORs, Cath Lab, and Radiology for easy and efficient patient flow
- Outside corridor surrounding the ED for family and EMS - excellent workspace for team
- Approximately 40,000 annual ED visits
- 24/7 neurology/stroke, trauma, ICU, cath lab, and hospitalist program
- ED ultrasound (Sonosite) and all procedures available
