Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to join an established hospital-employed practice in Ottumwa, Iowa. The incoming physician will perform a variety of bread-and-butter general surgery, include endoscopies. Robotic support is available on-site. This position is a great opportunity to join a surgical team of distinguished physicians and dedicated specialized nurses.

About the Position:

o Single specialty group

o DaVinci robotics

o Full-service Lab, CAP accredited-Mayo Clinic affiliated

o 5 modern operating suites. 21 bay 1-day surgery units. 3- GI procedure room. Fully-equipped post-anesthesia care unit with hi-def monitors

o Comprehensive BHS through Wound Care

o 10 days of call/month

o 1,500 annual surgeries/procedures

o Dedicated surgical team with specialized skills provide expert care

* J-1 waiver support via State Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, HHS based on location and specialty

* O-1
