The Physician (Associate Chief of Staff/Mental Health) serves as Chief of Behavioral Health Service and is responsible for administrative and clinical management and operation of Behavioral Health personnel and programs and achieving and maintaining facility adherence to VHA standards, state licensing standards, VA-OIG expectations as well as those of accrediting agencies such as The Joint Commission (TJC) and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
