Responsibilities

The Geoff Hill Lab, in Seattle's Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center Translational Science & Therapeutics Division, is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with expertise in transplant immunology and/or immunotherapy. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple NIH funded research programs, including studies defining the mechanisms of cancer-specific immunity versus immune escape and pathogen-specific immunity after adoptive cell therapy. There are also active programs defining mechanisms of, and innovative treatment paradigms for immune toxicity (e.g. graft-versus-host disease and cytokine release syndrome) after stem cell transplantation and adoptive cell therapy.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• MD or PhD in a related field
• A strong foundation in immunology and cell biology
• A track record of productive research

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Expertise in cellular immunology and a background in bone marrow/stem cell transplantation and/or immunotherapy

The annual base salary range for this position is from $77,976 to $150,000 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security.
