UVA Community Health Medical Group invites applications for a full time BE/BC Nephrologist. The candidate will play a key role in growing the kidney program at UVA Culpeper Medical Center, to include both inpatient and outpatient dialysis programs. There is high demand for nephrology care in this region and UVA is committed to serving the patients and physicians in this burgeoning community. This is an existing practice with a busy patient panel. The eligible nephrologist will be supported by the UVA Community Health Medical Group, known and highly regarded for its focus on physician culture and infrastructure to support motivated physicians who want to advance their careers. This position affords close collaboration with the prestigious Department of Nephrology at the University of Virginia Medical Center. The candidate will enjoy mentorship and clinical oversight from the division chief at the academic medical center, and will have unrestricted access to clinical trial enrollment, grand rounds, and CME opportunities.

The position offers a good mix of inpatient and outpatient care along with medical directorship of our Dialysis Unit. Providers are able to engage in a full range of tests and procedures on site. The patients will have access to UVA s full suite of primary and specialty care services, as well as the tertiary care opportunities of the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Centrally located between Washington, DC, and the home of Thomas Jefferson in Charlottesville to the south, lies Culpeper, the ideal mustering point for great Virginia adventures.
